USPC Mission Statement
It is the United States Powerlifting Coalition’s (USPC) mission to provide athletes the opportunity to compete in the sport of powerlifting in a stimulating and positive atmosphere of camaraderie and competition.
Our goal is to uphold the standards of the sport of powerlifting by enforcing the basic tenets of the performance of the squat, bench press, and deadlift. The USPC’s intention is to provide powerlifting meets that promote athleticism and physical performance, while ensuring that the rules enacted promote lifter safety.
We believe that the leaders of our federation must be fair, organized, and promote a culture that fosters a positive environment that supports all backgrounds, genders, ethnicity, and sexuality.
The USPC leadership will work alongside state chairs and meet directors to teach and uphold meet standards that foster a positive experience for everyone that comes into contact with our organization.
If you need to file a complaint (confidential or otherwise), please contact Kristine Rae Olmsted.

This was my first time with USPC. I’ve competed in a few other federations and by far this was my best experience. Thank you to all who helped put the meet together. Very well done!

Huge thank you for another wonderful meet! Somehow I hit 1,000 lbs! The day was incredible ~ and it was also really cool to spend some time with you the day before. As I tried to tell you when I was falling all over my words, I am so thankful for this outlet and the way you welcome all new comers and allow people to enter where they are...it is such a blessing to be a part of this group! Thank you for all you do!
Sincerely,
Jerry Delescavage Jr.
