Become a USPC Certified Gym


Why Become a USPC Certified Gym?

  • Recognized as a facility that has what powerlifters need to train and compete.
  • National recognition on the USPC website.

What Are the Requirements?

  • Stand-alone facility (no home gyms).
  • Website.
  • Copy of the facility's certificate of insurance.
  • Equipment needed to properly train for powerlifting.

Certified Gym status is awarded based on the following equipment levels:

□ Bronze Level

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least twelve (12) 45 lb steel plates
  • At least one stand-alone power rack
  • At least one stand-alone flat bench with bar-supporting uprights

□ Silver Level

  • Calibrated steel kilo plate set
  • Competition Squat Bar
  • Competition Deadlift Bar
  • Competition Combo Rack

□ Gold Level

All of the following are required:
  • Calibrated steel kilo plate set
  • Competition Squat Bar
  • Competition Deadlift Bar
  • Competition Monolift

Costs & Benefits

  • $300 one-time certification fee
  • $50 annual renewal
  • Official USPC Certified Gym Banner — 6' wide × 4' tall, printed on high-quality fabric with reinforced grommets for easy hanging.
  • Listing on the USPC website that includes:
    • Your gym website
    • Gym location
    • Your logo
    • Additional gym information
  • Your location featured in the USPC Certified Gym Finder, making it easy for lifters to find your facility when training at home or while traveling.
