DRUG TESTING INFO
Please note: It's important to understand that a lifter lifting in the non-tested division is not assumed to be on any of the substances that are banned in the tested division.
United States Powerlifting Coalition (USPC Tested) is happy to offer drug testing to those wishing to compete in that division.

- Lifters my elect to compete in the drug tested division at MOST meets. This option is not available at all meets. Please check the registration for specific details of each meet.
- Drug testing can not be added after registration. This selection must be made during the online registration process.
- Drug tested lifters are only eligible for drug tested awards and records unless the lifter pays a separate registration to compete in the non-tested division.
- Lifters DO NOT pay for their individual tests if they are chosen to be tested.
- Testing will only be performed at the meet. The lifter must be present if called for testing or otherwise be deemed a "failed" test.
- Drug Testing will be performed by USPC personnel and with USPC approved testing supplies. No outside tests will be accepted.
- All lifters will be tested who attain the following DOTS score or higher and have opted into drug testing.
- SBD-Men - Raw (Sleeves) 425, Wraps 445, Single-Ply 465, Multi-Ply 500.
- SBD-Women - Raw (Sleeves) 400, Wraps 420, Single-Ply 440, Multi-Ply 460.
- Single Lifts competitors that break National records will be tested at meet director discretion.
- All time world records will always be drug tested.
- A lifter has 30 days to appeal a failed test.
- Lifters who fail a drug test will be subject to suspension from USPC Tested meets as follows:
- First Offense: Six-month suspension.
- Second Offense: One-year suspension.
- Third Offense: Lifetime ban.
- All failed drug tests will be made public once the 30 day appeal period has expired or after a failed appeal attempt.
- The USPC offers a Therapeutic Use Exemption. Please submit your request no later than 30 days prior to the meet.
